PRESS RELEASE

Certificate distribution ceremony of DOSTI WELFARE ORGANIZATION Mansehra. Certificate distribution ceremony was held in Bissian vocational training center to on September 5,2006 to award those women who have completed their courses successfully. This vocational program was a combine project of Dosti and CHF. Under these vocational training programs women were trained not only in vocational skills but also given basic education. Women were trained in cutting and stitching, hand knitting, hand embroidery and crotia work. This was a high quality career-training program, which expended the minds of women and helped them to come out of the adverse psychological effects of earthquake.

The chief guest of the ceremony was Mrs. Huma Ahmad along with acting Chairman of Dosti Welfare Organization Mr. Aijaz Ahmad.

After distribution of certificates chief guest addressed the graduates and congratulate them on successful completion of courses. Mrs Huma really appreciated the courage of women, which they showed after such a disastrous earthquake and participated in vocational training program.

Mr. Aijaz in his address emphasized the Islamic values and role of women in society .He said women must show the same courage as it was shown in Prophet peace be upon him’s era by contributing in wars and served injured. He congratulated the women and assured them the continual support of Dosti for the welfare of women.

At the end of program Miss Saddiqa Tanoli the program coordinator expressed her views.
