Drinking Water Projects

Dosti Foundation is very concerned about the lack of clean drinking water in developing countries.  To that end Dosti has installed 25 hand pumps in remote areas of North West Frontier Province of Pakistan. We also installed a pipe line that brings fresh spring water from a mountain, down to a village benefiting three other villages. The cost of installing a well is well worth the expense because it saves a great deal of hardship that women have to undergo to bring water from several miles away.
