Gaju Khel, Nizam Pur – School and Well

To provide safe drinking water in one of the poor neighborhoods, Dosti
Welfare Organization (DWO) a sister organization of Dosti Foundation, has successfully installed a tube-well in Gaju Khel, Nizam Pur, some 98 kilometers south east of Peshawar, North West Frontier Province of Pakistan.

We are thankful to Mr. Arbid Orra, a longtime patron of Dosti Foundation, whose financial support has made this project possible.

It is worth mentioning here that in Gaju Khel village most of
the households bring water from a minimum distance of 2 kilometers.
Usually women and children carry pots to bring water on this hilly
location.

Also, there is desperate need of schools for both boys and girls,
especially for girls in this and the surrounding villages.

Thanks to Mr, Tajwali, who has dedicated part of his home to allow us to establish a primary school.  This well is located in the courtyard of the school.  The school will open in first week of September.
